Join us for an intimate evening of poetry, storytelling, and dialogue as acclaimed author LaTonya Yvette (Stand in My Window) and Indigenous organizer and poet Somáh Haaland come together to explore the profound connections between home, land, and the practices of communal care that sustain us. Through short readings from their work and a conversation that weaves personal narrative with broader questions of belonging and stewardship, Yvette and Haaland will illuminate how we create sanctuary in the spaces we inhabit—both physical and emotional—and how we tend to one another across generations and communities.
