Past Exhibitions

Dreaming with the Archives Brooklyn Bridge Park

Dreaming with the Archives is a public AR exhibition by Kinfolk in Brooklyn Bridge Park, blending digital monuments with the landscape to explore Brooklyn’s past and imagine new futures.

There Goes Nikki

There Goes Nikki is an AR tribute to poet and activist Nikki Giovanni, featuring her recitation of “Quilting the Black-eyed Pea” against a cosmic backdrop. Her voice guides viewers through a journey of Black memory, imagination, and liberation.

Portals of Remembrance

Kinfolk Tech and the NYC AIDS Memorial present Portals of Remembrance, an AR exhibition featuring virtual monuments by Derek Fordjour, Egyptt LaBeija, Tourmaline, and Jacolby Satterwhite. Through Kinfolk’s digital platform, the project reimagines the memorial as a space of memory and empowerment, honoring overlooked figures in the HIV/AIDS movement.

Let's collaborate to preserve, protect, and share the untold stories of your community. We work with cultural institutions, community organizations, artists, educators, and funders.
