The Futures We Tend

-

Welcome to Kinfolk's community orchard, The Futures We Tend.

Over the course of KIN: A Festival of Memory and Imagination, visitors to the exhibition had the opportunity to contribute to a living archive of what's possible. Their voices becoming part of the futures we will tend together. Responding to the question, “What does reclaiming space look like to you?” participants joined a conversation about what community spaces can become when they exist as sites of connection, memory, and hope.

We invite you to spend time with the responses recorded below and appreciate the aspirations and imaginings of the community through this radical act of cultivation.

Instructions

Tap on the apples collected in the crate to view individual responses. Tap outside the apple to go back to the crate.

Use the menu on the left hand side to view the apples by category. The top button shows all the responses, while the four buttons below it show responses from specific categories.

Drag the slider on the bottom to see apples that were in the crate at different times throughout the day. The arrows on either side let you see the crate during different days of the exhibition.
